AIRTEST VENTILATION CONTROL SYSTEMS SAVES ENERGY ON SUNSET BLVD IN LA

DELTA, BC, May 6, 2008 – AirTest Technologies (TSXV: AAT) is pleased to announce  completion of a new parking garage ventilation system at the Sunset Millennium Building in the heart of Sunset Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.

Utilizing its unique LonWorks® carbon monoxide sensors and LonWorks® controller, AirTest supplied a 41 sensor package that will cut energy costs to the building owner by more than $200,000 per year.  The annual energy savings are estimated at 1,350,000 kWh which in that area translates into savings in terms of greenhouse gas emissions of more than 1.800,000 lbs of CO2 emissions per year.

The Sunset Millennium project is the largest of 9 recent AirTest parking garage systems installed in the Los Angeles area.  The total energy savings for those 9 projects amounts to 4,240,000 kWh per year and the total reduction of greenhouse gas emissions amounts to 5,690,000 lbs of CO2 emissions.

Although these types of projects are justified through the energy cost savings they create, they are further enhanced by the energy rebate program offered by the utilities in Southern California working in concert with the California Energy Commission.
